Why Knot Me Community Guidelines
These guidelines explain the conduct standards expected across Why Knot Me, including dating, social discovery, reservations, business interactions, events, messaging, and real world experiences.
Why Knot Me is built for real world connection, respectful hospitality, intentional dating, relationship growth, and safer social discovery. Every user, business, creator, organizer, and participant is expected to act with honesty, consent, respect, and care.
1. Be Real
Use your own identity, accurate photos, truthful profile information, honest intentions, and current business or event information. Fake profiles, impersonation, misleading venue information, fake engagement, and deceptive conduct are prohibited.
2. Respect Consent and Boundaries
Consent must be voluntary, clear, mutual, and ongoing. Harassment, coercion, stalking, pressure, intimidation, non consensual content, unwanted sexual conduct, repeated unwanted contact, or ignoring another person’s boundaries may result in removal.
3. No Hate, Harassment, or Discrimination
Users and businesses may not attack, exclude, threaten, degrade, or discriminate against people based on protected characteristics or personal identity. WKM may remove content, restrict visibility, or suspend accounts for discriminatory or abusive conduct.
4. Safety in Real-World Experiences
Users are responsible for their own real world decisions. Meet responsibly, respect venue rules, avoid excessive intoxication, do not pressure others, and contact emergency services if there is immediate danger.
5. Respect Businesses and Staff
Users must treat venue staff, hosts, organizers, and other guests respectfully. Businesses must treat users fairly and must not misuse user data, discriminate unlawfully, or misrepresent venue experiences.
6. Prohibited Conduct
- Threats, violence, harassment, stalking, or intimidation
- Fraud, scams, chargeback abuse, or payment manipulation
- Sexual exploitation, escorting, prostitution, or trafficking activity
- Posting illegal, hateful, harmful, or non-consensual content
- Using bots, scrapers, or automated abuse tools
- Attempting to bypass moderation, safety, or visibility controls
- Misusing another person’s private information
7. Enforcement
WKM may remove content, restrict visibility, limit features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, report serious safety concerns, and cooperate with law enforcement when appropriate.
