Why Knot Me Community Guidelines & Safety Policy
Trust, consent, respect, and safety are not optional. These standards apply to users, businesses, venues, event organizers, staff members, and anyone using WKM services.
1. Respect and Consent
Consent is required. Users must respect boundaries, venue staff, relationship status, communication preferences, identity, expression, and physical and emotional boundaries.
2. Zero Tolerance Conduct
Harassment, threats, stalking, doxxing, hate speech, exploitation, fraud, scams, impersonation, coercion, unsafe conduct, and illegal activity may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal.
3. Real-World Safety
Real world interactions involve risk. Users should meet responsibly, use public locations when appropriate, inform trusted contacts, avoid excessive intoxication, and contact emergency services if in immediate danger.
4. Business and Venue Standards
Businesses and venues must maintain safe environments, respect users, comply with applicable laws, avoid discrimination, and responsibly manage events, reservations, alcohol service, staff behavior, and accessibility obligations.
5. Reports and Enforcement
WKM may investigate reports, remove content, restrict visibility, suspend accounts, limit reservations, remove businesses, and cooperate with law enforcement where legally required or reasonably necessary for safety.
